October 2025 Update
GoGoSafari has now ended and the sculptures are off to their forever homes. Break have announced the wonderful news that the auction raised £290,200!
This takes the total raised this summer to over £380,000; money that will go directly towards helping young people living in, around, and leaving care to build confidence, independence and bright futures, and ensuring Break can be there when they’re needed most.
“The incredible generosity shown tonight will make a real difference for young people in and leaving care across East Anglia,” said Rachel Cowdry, CEO of Break.
“This money will enable us to provide the stability, love and opportunities that every young person deserves. With the support we offer, young people can begin to heal, feel valued, and grow into the best adults they can be.”
June 2025 Update – GoGoSafari is now on until 30th August 2025
This unmissable trail features 50 beautifully decorated sculptures of gorillas, rhinos, giraffes, lions, and elephants.
Plus over 60 Mini Gs designed by local schools and community groups will be making up their very own urban safari in venues across the city!
We’re happy to say that Dia our giraffe is now in place on St Peter’s Street at the top of Norwich marketplace. Created by renowned local artist Phil Daniels, she was decorated with metal flake automotive paint and Kromatic light-reflecting particles.
You can find all the trail details including the map and app at break-charity.org/gogosafari
If you are enjoying the trail, please consider a donation to the organising charity Break, who believe no young person should feel alone in the world.
Funds raised through GoGoSafari will help Break to change young lives for the better.
February 2025 Update
We’re proud to announce our chosen artist for GoGoSafari this year is Phil Daniels! ukartist.co.uk
You might have seen his work on previous GoGo trails around Norwich and Norfolk and we can’t wait to see him bring our giraffe to its full splendour.
You’re not going to be able to miss it … and that’s all we can say at this stage!
Brought to us by regional charity Break in association with Wild in Art, Summer 2025 will see not one, but FIVE majestic sculptures straight from the African Savannah march their way into Norwich and Norfolk!
After the hugely popular and successful GoGoHares in 2018, and GoGoDiscover in 2021/22, we are proud to confirm that Fast-Fit and our sister company Wilco Motor Spares will be co-sponsoring a sculpture as part of GoGoSafari in 2025.
GoGoSafari will raise vital funds for Break; a charity working across East Anglia to pave the way for a brighter future for children and young people who have experienced the care system.
